Six Mile Bridge Brewery

Six Mile Bridge Brewery in Maryland Heights opened in 2015, the project of married couple Ryan and Lindsay Sherring. Ryan, a native of South Africa, started his brewing career in 2012 by founding 021 Brewing Company in Cape Town, and Lindsay, a St. Louis native and stout fan, joined that brewery as marketing director before the couple moved to St. Louis to start again. The brewery is named for a small Irish village that sits six miles between two larger towns and has long been a place where travelers and locals meet over a pint. It offers more than 20 styles, and a small barrel program ages Belgian quads, imperial stouts and wild beers in bourbon, port, wine and maple barrels, served only at the brewery. Core beers are canned for grocery stores statewide. The kitchen serves pub fare and bowls.
