Beer Outside Brewery

Beer Outside began as a mobile beer business, bringing local craft beer to pop-up beer gardens in parks, at area venues and at private parties around St. Louis with its custom-built tap trailer. It has since expanded with a family-friendly taproom in Valley Park that pours a rotating selection of its own handcrafted beers, from crisp lagers to bolder ales, plus non-alcoholic options. The taproom is open and bright with plenty of seating, two large TVs for sports and a kids’ area with activities. Co-founders Luke Oldham and Tyler Thompson are both St. Louis natives. Luke’s brewing résumé includes Schlafly, 2nd Shift and Six Mile Bridge, while Tyler brewed at Morgan Street, served beer at Urban Chestnut and sold craft beer to retailers. Beer Outside also runs Crowler Stop in Des Peres, a spot to sit for a beer or pick up crowlers, cans and bottles to go.
