Bee’s Knees Brewing Company

Bee’s Knees Brewing Company is a family-owned brewpub in Versailles that pairs beer brewed on site with specialty pizza, pasta and sandwiches in a family-friendly setting. Owner Chris Byars runs the brewing side, while Pam Byars manages the restaurant. True to its name, the beer list leans on bee puns. Year-round beers have included Electric Nectar, a honey blonde ale the brewery calls its most popular; Six Feet Bee-low, a West Coast IPA; Sweat Bee oatmeal stout; Colony pale ale; Hazy Hive hefeweizen; and Hillbilly Hammer hazy IPA, along with Party Cove Pils and Dam Blonde. Seasonal releases have included a blueberry wheat and an extra special bitter brewed as part of a MO Loves Company collaboration. Bee’s Knees also hosts parties, meetings and other events.
