Mother’s Brewing Co

Mother’s Brewing Company is a Springfield brewery whose slogan is that it brews love, and its taproom on South Grant Avenue pours a wide range of its own beers. The family theme runs through the beer names. Year-round beers have included Lil’ Helper, a Midwest Coast IPA built on Cascade, Centennial, Columbus and Simcoe hops; Three Blind Mice, a brownish-red altbier; Sunshine Chugsuckle hazy IPA; Step Dude American lager; Lake Break golden ale; and Trop Top tropical pale ale. Seasonals have included Winter Grind coffee stout, New Prague dark lager, Mr. Pumpkin and an Oktoberfest märzen, while limited releases have included Materfamilias barrel-aged imperial stout, Wild Cobra raspberry sour wheat and an Atomic Mom IPA series. Mother’s also makes Flip hard cider and Ready hard seltzers, books events and distributes its beer around the region.
