Callsign Brewing

Callsign Brewing is a beer hall and brewery in North Kansas City founded on a mission to honor veterans and first responders and to share their stories. Its flagship beers are named for the call signs of military aircraft lost in service. Founder Steve started the brewery with a pale ale, his first love in craft beer, and that recipe lives on as Fighter Pale Ale. Other beers have included Freedom Lager, Bomber Brown Ale, Jolly Hazy IPA, Mayday Maibock and Phantom Chocolate Porter, along with SkyTrain Seltzer in rotating fruit flavors, plus seasonal and small-batch releases. Callsign beer is distributed across the Kansas City area on both sides of the state line. The kitchen serves burgers, wraps and other pub food. The family-friendly beer hall has an outdoor patio and hosts events, and the Kansas City Star named it a 2026 reader favorite brewery.
