The Goat Brewing Co.

The Goat Brewing Co. is a locally owned brewery in Lee’s Summit that opened on March 6, 2021, aiming to honor the people who built the city through its beer. It brews a range of American, Belgian and German beer styles along with ciders, meads and seltzers, using specialty malts and locally grown hops. The taproom has plenty of seating, picnic tables outside and large TVs for sports, and the menu covers grilled paninis, hot dogs and flatbreads plus snacks such as house-made nachos, loaded waffle fries and soft pretzels. The bar also pours cocktails, house-made soda, tequilas and a rotating selection of more than 35 whiskeys, from bourbon and rye to Irish, Japanese and Scotch. A family theme runs through the brewery’s app, which invites guests to join the Goat Famiglia at levels such as Associate, Soldier and Capo for perks. Crowlers, growlers and cans are sold to go.
