Lotawana Brewing Company

Lotawana Brewing Company grew out of a Super Bowl Sunday experiment when a group of friends brewed their first batch in a bucket and liked the results enough to keep going. Years of research followed, including visits to local breweries, as they refined a simple lineup of traditional-style ales and lagers. The brewery calls Lake Lotawana its hometown. Beers have included Cook & Swim light lager, Canoe Club Kölsch, a golden ale, Hop On Over pale ale, Bone Mender hazy IPA, Bang On! imperial stout and Trapper Keeper Belgian ale, along with gluten-free Lake Water seltzers and cocktails. The Duck Haus, a newer addition, is a scratch kitchen and lounge blending German and Southern comfort food, styled after old duck hunting cabins, with bourbon, rum, tequila and cigars. The brewery also runs a mug club and a farmers market.
