Bluewood Brewing
About
Bluewood Brewing is a St. Louis brewpub run by brewmasters Cameron Lund and Grant Lodholz, who began homebrewing together in college. In 2015 they named their project Bluewood after the nicknames of their college houses, Ol’ Blue and Plywood, where they first got serious about brewing. Their artisan ales built a local following, and late in 2016 they teamed up with Michael and Joseph Jones, forming an original four, to look for a permanent home. They found it in the historic Lemp stables and opened to the public in September 2019. Both brewmasters grew up in Kirkwood and trained as engineers, Lund in hydraulics after graduating from Missouri S&T and Lodholz in mechanical engineering at Mizzou. The taproom serves food from its own kitchen and hosts events, private parties and a Death Wish wing challenge, and regulars can join the Inner Ring membership program.
