Martin City Brewing Company Pizza and Taproom

Martin City Brewing Company grew out of Matt Moore’s homebrewing hobby and his wish for bigger, bolder local beer in Kansas City. The idea took shape over lunch in Martin City, where Moore and his supporters turned a small building into a pub that opened in June 2011. Demand soon outgrew that space, and in January 2014 the company opened its first Pizza and Taproom next to a new production brewery. Its beer reached Kansas City area restaurants that November, and canning and distribution across state lines followed. The Moore family has since expanded with a Mission Farms Pizza and Taproom in 2018, a pair of Lee’s Summit openings in 2019 that included a Pizza and Taproom and a Love, Coffee shop, Station 7 on the east side of Lee’s Summit in 2022, and Lenexa. The company also offers catering.
