Casual Animal

Casual Animal Brewing Co. is a Kansas City microbrewery and taproom whose motto promises relaxed beers that bring out a drinker’s wild side. The brewery focuses on small-batch, fresh, local beer and puts quality ahead of quantity and community involvement ahead of self-interest. Events are a big part of the taproom, and each one is meant to connect guests with new people, ideas or skills. Its recurring Think and Drink series meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month, and the calendar has also included an art bar along with merchandise and classes. The taproom can be reserved for private gatherings, though the brewery stays true to its casual culture by operating first and foremost as a microbrewery and taproom, with most tables first come, first served. Casual Animal also offers food and custom merchandise.
